Hmm. Still unsure whether Alien Isolation is scary or just annoyingly designed.

Finishing up Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories from the 1.5 HD collection. Then, moving on to the second collection soon.
It's time to kick a$$ and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of gum.

About six hours into the Final Fantasy Anniversary edition on PSP and have leveled my characters to around 23. Liking the game but it feels rather slow and tedious there has been absolutely 0 challenge so far. Really hoping for a difficulty spike soon since every boss has only taken 1-2 turns to kill :P.

When I posted that I was just past the first proper encounter with the alien. It kept sniffing me out if closets but I kind of understand what it was I was doing wrong. It still bugs me sometimes how skittish it is.

Get past the med bay. It's smoother sailing from there.

Realized I hadn't played my Vita in a while, so I fired up Uncharted: Golden Abyss on it. After a few hours I'd say it's fun enough. The graphics are astounding for a handheld game, living up the "AAA in your pocket" pitch Sony originally made for the device. My only real complaint is the developers went overboard with the touch control implementations. That stuff should be optional and allow joystick input if one prefers. Really kick ass voice acting in this game by the way.

I'm well past the med bay now. Just got the
flamethrower
. It's weird because the best and worst bits of the game so far have both involved the alien doing what it does. I don't know about you but for me sometimes the cat-and-mouse is really tense and sometimes it feels like he's cheating. I dunno. Still liking it a lot though.

Huge blizzard incoming which means I am guaranteed to lose power.

Got the PSP charging for another round of Capcom Classics Collection Remixed & Reloaded. I'd like to get through the 194X games without any egregious credit-feeding. Maybe a few others as well.
