Re: Playstation Vita thread
I totally want to play Danganronpa, but no store in my area has it! I must continue my search to satiate my appetite for mystery visual novels on handhelds!

Re: Playstation Vita thread
There exists a fan translated ISO version of the first Danganronpa for PSP. The official USA version is a port of the PSP original glossed up for Vita.
Other Vita adventure games to consider:
Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
The Walking Dead: Season One
The Walking Dead: Season Two
The Wolf Among Us
Xblaze Code Embryo
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
And soon we will have the Tokyo Twilight Hunters, and Grim Fandango remake available for Vita as well.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Just a reminder that on January 27, 2015 this will be released in the USA:

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation is the remake of the game for the PlayStation Vita developed by Felistella, which features a new selection of playable characters. Akin to the earlier remake game for the PS Vita, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, this game also utilises the battle system from Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory in addition to a "remake system" which unlocks special modifications to the game. The remake features an improved framerate compared to the performance of the original mk2 PS3 game, in addition to reworked voice acting, music and visuals. In addition to most of the original mk2 cast, the game also features the characters representing game developer companies from Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, in addition to Cave, 5pb, Red, and the four Oracles of each continent; both Gust and Nisa have been removed from the game, however. The opening theme song is "Kirihirake! Roleplay Star Girl" (きりひらけ!ロープレ☆スターガール?) by Nao, and the ending song is "Never give up" by Ayane.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Huzzah, I finally found a HDCP stripper that works and can finally record Vita games.
(This is it, if you want it - make sure it's v1.3, not 1.4, as 1.4 'supports' HDCP a.k.a. doesn't strip it)
Now I just have to find my Vita because all my games are with it. I did get Sorcery Saga with the splitter, though, so I'll probably be playing that soon.

Wait, how do you connect a Vita to HDMI?the7k wrote:Huzzah, I finally found a HDCP stripper that works and can finally record Vita games.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Ars Technica has reported that Sony is removing a few features including Google Maps, and YouTube (this one due to upgrading their API).
Has anyone ever used these features?

Re: Playstation Vita thread
I didn't, but it also means Near is gone, which I used a few times. Either way these won't be missed.casterofdreams wrote:Ars Technica has reported that Sony is removing a few features including Google Maps, and YouTube (this one due to upgrading their API).

Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
Well google maps makes sense if only because technically google maps will technically be no more in the sense of the way it has been(it's getting a new api behind it from what I read that is not in house). Plus I don't have much use for near at least not with the fact unless I'm on this forum I don't see the want to play with people especially since I'm late to the game with games that involve being more useful playing with others
