I've been slowly working my way through Attack on Titan still, so I found these realistic statues of the characters to be entertaining, albeit a bit creepy.

On a separate but related note, I would totally be a sucker for this photo op:

Finished Fairy Tail, now working on Fairy Tail 2014. Lots of cliffhangers and time travel, but an enjoyable show non-the-less.

Yep. Kuroneko-sama is in every episode. Trigun was one of my favorite anime series when I was in high school. Kuroneko-sama is also in the backgrounds of the manga in random places.

My top 3 anime for this month are Aldnoah Zero Season 2, Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu, and Nanatsu no Taizai. Kieijuu is just freaking awesome if your into monster thrillers and Nanatsu no Taizai is great if your just looking for a fun quality fantasy anime with plenty of good humor. Both series also have pretty bad ass action sequences.

Aldnoah Zero on the other hand is great for people into mechs and space combat and basically feels like a smarter Gundam show with less melodrama. So far the second season is just as great if not better then the first season.

I've also caught up with Naruto Shippuden again after taking a break for a few months. Was disappointed that after building up some awesome fight scenes they started on a new filler arc  leaving the main story at a cliffhanger for now :P . This series feels like 80% filler when you don't have a solid backlog of episodes to watch. I'm expecting another 3-4 weeks before we get back to the main story as well.

I was in it in college, have my moments here and there since. But something I can call a constant I do appreciate is Lupin the 3rd movies (and tv) along with much of what Studio Ghibli has put out. Sure it's easy to throw out Shirow Masamune anime conversions (black magic, appleseed, ghost in the shell stuff) as is Akira but I'm sure they've had plenty of love in a thread this deep.

I've got the funimation packages with the 10 movies (2x5) First and Final Haul for Lupin the 3rd and that to me is required watching as is also Castle of Cagliostro which is something Miyazaki did before Ghibli was founded.

I'm only 2 episodes in but Durarara is proving extremely compelling thus far.
