I was gonna post this pretty soon.
Double Dragon was one of my absolute favorites growing up :)
I hope they don't screw it up with the "enhanced graphics" -- that's one game that had its charm in the graphics.
If they leave the sprites alone, but make it more suitable for HDTVs/widescreen but keeping it normal for older TVs, that's cool

I could never get into the Beat em Ups until Streets of Rage came along. Double Dragon felt too stiff and unresponsive for me, even back when it first came out. Good music in the first one though.

Back then Double Dragon WAS the beatemup genre. It was something different back then -- I couldn't get enough of it.
And who can forget the final scene when

you have to fight your brother for the girl (at least if you play 2 player)

Haha, that's classic. I do miss how some of these old games had retarded testosterone levels that all current games lack. Except for maybe God Hand. That game looks great.

I hope they fix the amazing collision detection if they use the SMS version.
