What was your first gaming system?
Mine was the Atari 2600 Jr. , Some of my favourite games for it were: Joust, Pitfall, Frostbite, Enduro, Fishing Derby, Freeway, Outlaw, Skiing, River Raid.
Your first gaming system?
I didn't get my own console until the Genesis.
I was deprived.

My Gameboy was my 1st gaming system... unless you count those old Tiger® hand held things.
Much later I got a Genesis which was my 1st real plug-in-to-the-tv type console.
Actually before I had any kind of video game, I used to use the alphabet-magnets on the refrigerator to recreate the levels from Strider.
So in a way, you could say the fridge was my 1st gaming system.

Never had any the Atari systems, if you had the ADAM computer system addon the most impressive game was buck rodgers on a tape. Other then that, just the basic carts, I mostly played Qbert, PopEye the sailor man, Spider Man, Smurfs ect... there is an article on how the two systems differ over here http://www.classicgaming.com/museum/colecovision/Jubal wrote:what were some colecovision games? or rather ones that stood out from the 2600? I been on the lookout for a CV, have some carts and the steeringwheel already heh

Hehe -- I had those Tiger handhelds too!
I probably have my Sonic one somewhere -- that was one thing I wouldn't put in a garage sale

I don't know what my first game system was. I was too young... It was color and had a maze game. It hooked up to the TV and must of had the resolution of a Sega VMU. Then I had a Socrates http://hawanja.com/socrates.htm which did have cartridges and a wireless keyboard and a very interesting controller. I recorded some things I did with it onto VHS tapes...
In 1991 I got a SNES and a Gameboy, but I had been gaming on other people's consoles and a Macintosh Plus for a while.
