A little over 29 hours in... and I'm on the second disc! I told myself I wouldn't waste time grinding... but I still decided to kill half an hour in a slime pit on Typhoon Mountain earlier to boost my water magic some.

Just escaped the jail.
Got on the train and the kids came home from a birthday party. I will hop back on the train again later.

Earth 5

Feena

Plot spoilers:
I was quite sad to lose Sue. I hope whoever inevitably replaces her is a good character, as Sue was one of my favourites.

Dang I've got a lot of catching up to do, I'm still just barely out of Parm and on my way to New Parm. Though I'm procrastinating the trip trying to get that 25 seconds....can't get less than 28 and I've done the 25 before...

At first I thought you meant there was a birthday party for the kids in the game.

There was much confusion.

Now that I reread my post... It is confusing.
My kids were at a party, the kids in the game were on the train.

I now have all of Justin's moves and magic! He's a complete beast. Feena is pretty close to learning all of them, but the game doesn't tell me how much more leveling I need to do (it just shows "???" symbols). I suppose I could look online but where's the fun in that?

So, 44.5 hours in.
Feena has been captured by the imperial forces. They took her on an airship. Justin, Rapp, and Guido gave chase... on a flying manta ray... that Guido had "stashed" away apparently.
I hope I get to battle with that cute trio of female generals again.

I have been playing, just not posting much about it. My party is level 12-ish right now and we just got to
the top of the end of the world.
Oh one thing I wanted to mention, I know some of you really seem to like the whole 'conversation over dinner/before bed' thing, but not me. I didn't like it in Grandia II either. I guess it would be alright if you could skip it all together, but I find it really annoying when I just want to keep going and instead I'm told "you're tired already Justin? Let's keep talking for a while!" or something. Annoying.

I don't know i find it enjoyable, I'm not as far but for me it never seems to get old for how far I did get last time. It's just a lot better when it's not in the same place every night. The same place is only good during the first chapter(everything that happens in Parm and Messia)

Awwwwww I love those dinner conversations!

Though I don't go wild over the NPC dialogue like some folks. I talk to like 1/3 of the people in every town.
