Day 9: Pure Cardio

Looking at myself in the mirror look fatter than yesterday. Weird.

The race is not for the swift, but for those who can endure.

So.. uh... I missed yesterday. How come no one called me out?

Day 11: Yesterday's Plyometric Cardio Circuit and today's Cardio Recovery

Missing one day really feels like a set back. Also had KFC for dinner yesterday which was a BAD move. Especially cause afterwards I watched a load of youtube stuff about factory farming animal cruelty. Gonna give going vegan another go.

Day 12: Cardio Power & Resistance

Sweating buckets. Anything that involves hitting the floor (i.e. moving push ups, floor sprints etc.) is still kicking my arse, but feel like I'm slowly improving. In general feeling pretty good.

By the way, dealing with Insanity as soon as you get out of bed before you get hungry is definitely the way to go. Don't need to worry about it the rest of the day and I don't have a full belly weighing me down.

Day 13: Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs

Two programs today. Pure Cardio is tough as balls since there are pretty much no breaks. After that you have to do Cardio Abs, which to be fair isn't too bad until the last few plank exercises that really make you groan.

Week 2 done!

Next weigh in is this monday. Feel like I lost more weight in the first week, at least it looks like that in the mirror.

What's crossfit? Insanity is basically like this dude shouting at you for forty minutes non stop, but then hugging you and tellingyou he loves you and making you feel positive and confident.

Is it like a bunch of high rep exercises with little rest in between using body weight or something. Judging from your pics you don't have much to lose, maybe tone up some. You seem to have a good attitude though lol.

I'd rather have an additional few pounds and pain-free days.

Day 15: Fit Test

Results:

83 / 48 / 66 / 37 / 10 / 10 / 15 / 40

Don't know if it's 'cause of the day off yesterday, but Mondays are tough as balls. Close to puking by the end of today's session, but some good improvements in my scores.

The dip in the first score is actually due to me not doing it properly two weeks ago (switch kicks). Wasn't getting high enough off the ground. Good improvements on all other exercises though so happy with my performance.

Also, in case anyone missed it, I've been following a whole foods plant based (vegan) diet since last Thursday and I'm starting to feel really good. Light on my toes, less sluggish and I used to wake up with a bit of an oily face, which for the last two days hasn't happened. Woop dee doo!
