i am running PAL PS3's and i can disable the 576 modes and leave 480 checked , when pressing ' Info ' on my TV it says 480i mode but i cant tell if its 50 or 60hz.
the game is the PAL release btw...............

480i is intended for 60hz only.
50hz would be a non-standard format, I'm not sure what TVs accept that.

Unknown. I believe the equivalent mode for PAL is 576I. If I were to encounter that I'd be looking for a patch file (but, obviously, that's what the software does). This is way too non-retro for my brain to comprehend...
I mostly posted to say that I'm glad to see Aldo's still making cutting-edge software for the scene - that guy is awesome!

hi guys thanks for the knowledge and tips..............
ive done something interesting i did this for Blazblue PAL and DOA 5 PAL , i removed all HD modes and left only 480 modes ticked i then hooked my PS3 to my PC monitor and streamed the 2 games. I hit ' Information ' on my monitor and both games say 720x480p 60hz im going to be trying more games but things look really good from here.
also the point of running in SD mode is to run them on my Astro City , i really would like a Vewlix tho.
