Always heard this was a good one, but wow. We must have played for hours, and we both agreed that this was one of the better co-op games we had played. Lots of strategy and precise gameplay, especially when going for a good ranking, or trying to get all the collectibles.

The music stage was insanely cool. We spent the better part of 30 minutes at the keyboard section. If you've played it, you know what I am talking about.

Fantastic game. Its not even "good for a hidden gem", its one of the better games I've played in a while, and probably the best co-op game on the ps2. Truely unique, demanding, and fun gameplay. Seems that I really like From's games.
Thank you for bringing this game to my attention. It looks awesome, and I just bought a copy.

Cookies and Cream is a great game. I have only played it solo, which is still fun, but very challenging to control both characters at the same time.

I had to pause the game for a minute to work out why Donald's hat would need a zipper on it. Then I met Cloud. Two words: Sword. Bandages.

What's disappointed me the most is the lack of Disney music. I went to Hercules world expecting to hear "Zero to Hero" or "I won't say I'm in love" blasted at me but I got mediocre "Greece" sounding music instead. WTF.

I couldn't agree more. I have tried on numerous occasions to sit down and play Kingdom Hearts and I just throw my controller up in the air in frustration at their poor design and asinine combat system.
I'm curious, how did you find the combat to be asinine?

It seems pretty simple to me, one button to attack, one button to jump, one button for locking on. Get those three things down and you can basically beat the entire game. The d-pad menu system for using magic and abilities might be a little awkward but none of those are really necessary and the game hardly moves at a fast enough pace that you can't find the time in combat to use them if you want.

I'm absently playing both of my big WiiU releases, but barely. With Hyrule Warriors, I truly enjoy Warriors games more 2p and I rarely have friends over these days (combination of schedules not lining up, too many pen and paper RPGs amongst my friend group taking up various times when our work/free time DOES line up, and honestly my being kinda in a funk lately) so I don't give it anywhere near the love I should. And with Bayonetta 2, I hit a wall with a boss's second form (the scorpion lady in Inferno) and need to go back to farm for some health items (since you can only buy X amount from the store) to pass it. That or get better at the game, which is also going to involve some farming more or less.

Also occasionally giving a whirl to an arcade Beat-em-up, either D&D: Tower of Doom or one of the PGM ones I have, whenever my buddy who used to work in an arcade comes to hang out.

I need to really invest serious time in something again. Maybe I'll fire up a jrpg, it's been a while.

At the beginning of the game, playing in the Alice and Wonderland level, you have unreachable enemies that fire magic at you and interrupt combos against enemies you can reach. You can't leave until all the enemies are defeated and I spent a half hour trying to get a hold of a single enemy to kill. Not fun, not enjoyable and a complete waste of time.

That projectile coming offscreen that interups your combo only gets worse when you play the one on the 3DS

I love the games but at this point is just gettin ridiculous. I have never seen bosses so overpowered and spammy as like i saw on dream drop distance and basiclly i whon the by spaming zero graviga+thunder and using the flow combat all the time at least the other games had SOME strategy to the combat... hold on this was supossed to be a short answer.

About that alice in wonderland section maybe you made the enemy spawn when you where up on a tree and that made the enemy stay more high than usual? I never had that problem and when i get tired of some enemy like that i just throw a fireball at them.

Nomura's designs were pretty cool looking in the Parasite Eve and (arguably) Final Fantasy VIII days.

FFX onward he kinda started getting uh... strange.

Parasite Eve artwork is cool. Didn't know that was him.

I hate everything else. I feel like his characters are perpetually smirking at me. And the big shoes. God help us.

It's like he can't stop drawing. Everything is very busy and it's hard to focus on details. Case in point, Nomura's infamous Batman design.
