Arion is right by the way, CD and DVD based console have shorter lives because of the moving parts.

Genesis, 15 years and going strong!

I got my DC in 1999 and it still works great, but lately it has been acting up from time to time.

My oldest console that I have in my possession now is my N64. When I fired it up after months of storage the screen flickered like the old 8-bit NES used to do. After blowing in the console it started working again. Man, Ocarina of Time looks awful on a 42" Plasma :D

I might have my old Philips G7000 somewhere at my mother's or somewhere. I also had a Vectrex, but it got stolen from my brother's addictstorage a couple of years ago.

My SNES from '93 is my longest runner. Except I just replaced it two days ago with the custom painted Super Metroid one. But it still works fine, and has been my good friend for a long time.

My NES. I got it for Christmas back in ........... I don't remember :) Must have been around 1990. I have had to swap out the 72-pin connector, but that's all. The old one still worked it just took about 20 minutes to get a game to work :)

The oldest thing I have that hasn't been repaired is my SNES. Got that for Christmas also, probably around '93. I wish I knew exactly when I got it ... I really should keep the receipts for these things.

I also had a Commodore 64 that my parents sold at a yard sale when I was away for the summer one year. I don't think I'll ever forgive 'em for that.

My Gameboy's screen ended up coming unglued, but my original Genesis is still as good as new.

Mine's the N64 also, from 1998 I think. I wish I still had the NES that I got back in 1986 or 87.
