Exhuminator, that's it? :\
Maybe I do need to look back and give another eye towards SMT4, Fantasy Life, or some other stuff as none of that looks appealing in the least bit, especially the 2 Nintendo made games.

I got Fantasy Life for my birthday and have been really enjoying it.
I feel we're probably due for a Nintendo direct with new game announcements soon.

I understand from a hardware perspective what's going on here, it's just personally I find the scanline effect to be detrimentally distracting. Hence I plan to buy a 2DS for the 3DS games I'd rather play in 2D.Niode wrote:A 'retina' screen will effectively mean that the GPU would need to drive an additional 422,400 pixels. I meant I was the one being negative here, not you. You did a good job of explaining the technological reasons the faux-scanlines appear on the 3DS when it is put into 2D mode.Niode wrote:Well excuuuuuse me for being constructive...
I was focusing on upcoming physical retail releases that I thought held potential. There are some eShop games coming too that might be interesting to some folks. Here's a fairly comprehensive list: http://www.ign.com/games/upcoming/3dsTanooki wrote:Exhuminator, that's it? :\
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
Re: Nintendo 3DS
I don't really grab eshop games due to well Nintendo, but I do on rare case get stuff and it usually has been those 3D Sega classics and Afterburner is on my short list. My grumble was about physical releases. I think they're just quietly killing it while quietly to an annoying level holding back whatever is cooked up for the New3DS whenever they decide to stop keeping people in this region in the dark about it.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I have been playing Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS and I have to say, I love the charm involved in the game. They animated Luigi in so many cool and unique ways. There seems to be a whole lot of personality involved in the game in a way that just wasn't there for the original. Kudos to those guys for making a game no one thought really needed a sequel and making it a AAA title that has a lot of imagination and thought.

The next direct will probably focus on the New 3DS if I had to guess. Showcasing features, compatible games, and a brief explanation as to why you should buy your 15th 3DS iteration.alienjesus wrote:I feel we're probably due for a Nintendo direct with new game announcements soon.

I love this game as well. Unfortunately, it seems to be one of those games destined to be a forgotten gem.BogusMeatFactory wrote:I have been playing Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS and I have to say, I love the charm involved in the game.
