I'm frequently amused when I play God Hand.
I also just started Destroy All Humans the other day and found picking up and throwing the cows to be worth a chuckle.

Grand theft auto for the PlayStation. I had the expansion of England in the 1960's, god that was funny. you could belch, fart, people would call you a filthy hippie, all that good stuff. plus, driving the little RC cars that had some sort of explosive attached to them. i simply could not get enough of that game. yea, also conkers bad fur day x2, and metal gear solid for the PlayStation. If you where to loud the guy would go " huh? what was that noise?? ", then go beat the crap out of him, knock him unconscious, then he would do it again, lol.

i would love to play a game that was on the level of curb your enthusiasm or arrested development. Or hell, even scrubs or how i met your mother.
seems like all the humor that isn't horrid is all dick and fart jokes. Or you know- not supposed to be funny. I laughed a lot at resident evil 4.
Mario and Luigi superstar saga had jokes, but.... can you call it a joke when it isn't funny? This is a common trend in video game humor. It is probably really difficult to translate comic delivery to a game. So much timing in the audio and body expression. If the animators arn't working strictly to the source, i could see it easy getting fucked up.
was charles barkley shut up and jam gaiden funny? I never played it... i'm on a mac. I thought it sounded funny. Funny like the internet is funny.

No game has inspired more inside jokes amongst my friends than House of the Dead 2. "Suffer like G did?" the first boss ASKS you, for some reason.
"A successor shall carbleblarble," the final boss mumbles after you defeat him.
Pure gold.

I forgot to add the Typing of the Dead. That's pretty funny, especially when playing with someone else.

You're right, that was hilarious! I still find it kinda funny though, does that make me immature?Jmenglan wrote:Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. Bitch slapping and farting on little blue men was great when you were 11.

Yes.
But hey, I think Skullmonkeys made me laugh the most of any game. At least for humor purposes.
I can't help but quote movies while playing some first person shooters...I played support in Battlefield 2142. "If he runs, he's a VC. If he stands still, he's a well-trained VC! HAHAHAHA"
Good times were had by all.
