I do occasionally, their Sonic 06 play through is pretty hilarious, I prefer Nintendocaprisun, slimkirby, or Kenshin1913 when it comes to let's play, especially Nintendocaprisun something about him I can really relate to, definitely a guy it would be cool to chill with. Incidentally he lives pretty close to me, in Neenah WI, I live in Pewaukee a couple hours away

With all the gaming some of yalls do I'm shocked you have time to watch videos of other people playing video games.

Back to the SNES, I'd like to snag a few more RPGs this year. We'll see how that goes.

Oh boy, same. You know it though. I've got a few names I want to track down this year, like Soul Blazer and The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang.

Tanooki wrote:Both those games do that to me as I've had Maui Mallard and Skyblazer back in 2014. I bought them thinking I'd love to finish and keep them, and I got fed up maybe an hour in and just lost all motivation. I couldn't quite peg why, maybe it was just being generic play getting beyond the pretty coat of paint, or maybe I didn't like the stages or enemies, and I have no idea. Sometimes something should by all accounts do it for you, and it just doesn't. Same can be said on detesting a genre, but something about one game in it you just can't say no to -- which for me would be Ogre Battle and I hate that type of game.

That's why I tend to give games a fair shot for myself. There are a lot of genres I try to stay away from but occasionally I'll try something that interests me anyway and occasionally it will work out.

Happens the most to me with RPGs since it's a genre that doesn't grab me. Usually it has to be one that doesn't play to the usual settings or tropes or has some kind of unique catch to the gameplay. I also tend to do better on average with sci-fi based ones.

Had both of those last year. Spike is more refreshingly fun even if it's short just because it actually has a unique look and story with it compared to the usual games of that style of play. I'm not going to say it's worth the price it went for when I got it (I got a deal) and if it's higher now it still probably isn't, but it's a solid one to play.

These two bastards have been on my Want List for years:
EVO and Harvest Moon

Great games, but the thought of those prices makes me weep.

LOL some of us don't have wives or girlfriends or kids, it's nice being single haha lots of free time.

I played through EVO on my flash cart, its not bad but I don't see what all the fuss is about it's not that mindblowing spectacular that I'd want to spend more than $50 on it

and whats so special about the SNES Harvest moon? isn't there a much cheaper remake on the PS1? there are so many versions of Harvest moon, why pay the most for the first.

Probably because SNES > all other consoles.

If I let go of one of my girlfriends I probably would have more gaming time, you are right.
