I also had no idea.
So obviously I'm playing with both on standard. Driver version is 2.00. I haven't had any freezing problems for quite a while though!

I'm roughly 10-11 hours in, having just finished up in Dom Ruins and have probably done too much magic grinding (but not as much as BoneSnapDeez). The boss of Dom Ruins was a BREEZE.

I normally take my time with RPGs but I'm hoping I can beat this before the end of the month. My base goal is to play for one hour on days I'm working and at least two on my days off. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE IT.

I'm about 15 hours in, just finished the events at Luc village and about to explore through the misty forest.

My other magic is starting to catch up with the water magic I grinded. Parties weapon & magic levels are:

Justin:
Mace - 7
Sword - 7
Axe - 8
Water - 12
Wind - 7

Sue
Mace - 8
Bow - 10
Water - 10
Earth - 9

Feena:
Knife - 10
Whip - 7
Fire - 7
Wind - 8
Water - 1

The boss with the 'Balloon' attack was the worst. Spent have the battle just hoping I'd be allowed to make an attack soon.

I am unfamiliar with this 'Balloon,' attack. Must have killed him before he pulled it off.

I love those moments in the combat where they initiate their attack, but you come in just at the right time to hit him with a series of combos that cancel their attack all together. Those are good times.

It was the third boss in the military base, the one with glasses. She got about 3 turns before any of my characters got one, and she used it like 70% of the time. It inflicts poison and paralysis randomly on your whole party. Pain in the ass.

Yeah I definitely did not see them use that balloon attack. My main character has a crazy high ACT stat, which is really bad for leveling characters like Sue up in her magic as she never gets a chance to attack before the battle ends.

Got to Dight village, game crashed, back at Gadwins house minus about 3 magic levels for each element.

Really sick of this.

I feel your frustration. If I had to go back and spend an extra hour redoing what I did in an RPG I would rage quit.
