Funniest game you ever played

Post by PGchris »

I feel like there aren't enough truly funny games anymore especially in RPGs. Seems like they all have to be long stories that take themselves way too seriously....

anywho funniest game I've ever played was probably Sam and Max: Hit the Road
Systems Owned: SNES, N64, Dreamcast, Xbox 360, PS2, DS, Sega Genisis+32x+CD, Saturn, PSP

The game I laughed most at was the first Resident Evil. I think it was funnier because it was unintentional.

As for real humor, Earthworm Jim made me chuckle a few times.

Adventure games are particularly ripe with humor. Secret of Monkey Island, Space Quest IV, any Al Lowe game, Simon the Sorceror, the Spellcasting series all hilarious. The talkie version of QFG 4 had some really funny parts too.

In fact, it's hard for me to think of many non-adventure games that are particularly funny. That's probably part of why I love adventure games so much.

Since I'm not much into adventure games, I'll just throw Mario & Luigi in here. It had me laughing quite a bit.

I like "Whacked!" just because of the nature of the games and the weapons used. Pretty fun game for a launch title too.

Same here, especially the intentional "engrish" from certain characters and references to internet culture.

Armed & Dangerous had me laughing out loud a time or two as well.

I always enjoyed the way Mario communicated in Super Mario RPG.

Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. Bitch slapping and farting on little blue men was great when you were 11.
