The EX2?

I have that myself and I did notice that in Ikaruga I would often die when trying to 'hug' an enemy to charge by absorbing their bullets - This doesnt happen (as much) when using my DC stick which has Sanwa parts...

Yeah I have 2 of the Soul Calibur ones. I actually really noticed it the other day while playing Dig-Dug of all things.

I watched a hands on video involving the controller, and it was stated that the D-pad felt like the Saturn D-pad. I suspect the real reason they released this was so it's that much easier for Treasure to give us Radiant Silvergun on XLA/PSN.

Well, I plan to pick up a pair of the fighting pads for the Xbox 360, but I am considering getting a stick also to try out. Not only for this game, but for my Shooters as well. I read through the entire topic, and checked out all the links. I am still confused on what is the end all, be all best choice though. Any input is welcomed.

The 360 TE stick will be PC compatible. But's it's already a lost cause if you haven't pre-ordered. All the allotment is spoken for. They're only making 3,000 sticks total.

And yeah those pads will be awesome. The Ars Technica write-up said they were very very similar in feel to the Saturn/Genesis style.

What about the regular edition? Any chance to hit the stores?

Should be.
I think they said they were going to make 3000 of the TE's and see what happens, so they should eventually have more of those too.
