The game is easy enough that you don't have to put a tremendous amount of thought into it. I'd give Earth to one of your characters.
I played a bit last night. Just got the herbs for the sick kid.

heh I tried playing this years ago on the PSN and got stuck on Master Chang. But I had no idea what the mana eggs did haha, I'm sure it will be much easier now that Sue can heal with only 1mp.

Re: Together Retro: Grandia
Just escaped the train and am now in the Misty Forest.
Haven't seen Mana Eggs for a little while. Hopefully I haven't missed any. The game remains relatively easy regardless.
I suspect I'm ahead of everyone except for Bogus. Where u at bro?

Re: Together Retro: Grandia
I arrived at the main part of Dom Ruins (was at the forest bit before) and found the water magic grinding spot Bone mentioned before. I now have both Sue and Justin at water level 10, and that's as far as I'm gonna go - I don't want to make the game too easy, but mainly I just can't stand the grind anymore - how on earth did you go to 20 bone? It takes so long once you hit about level 7 because the spells stop giving decent exp anymore!
I didn't realise until I'd already started that Grandia is one of the games that suffers from occasional freezing on PS2. I don't have another system I can play it on unfortunately, so I'll just have to slug through. It's crashed on me 3 times already though.

Hmmmm I'm playing on a PS2 and haven't crashed, though the game sometimes has some serious framerate issues.alienjesus wrote:I arrived at the main part of Dom Ruins (was at the forest bit before) and found the water magic grinding spot Bone mentioned before. I am also playing it on the PS2 and it crashed once so far. I do have a PS1 but I am too lazy to hook it up unless the crashing becomes more persistent.ninjainspandex wrote:Hmmmm I'm playing on a PS2 and haven't crashed, though the game sometimes has some serious framerate issues.alienjesus wrote:I arrived at the main part of Dom Ruins (was at the forest bit before) and found the water magic grinding spot Bone mentioned before. Re: Together Retro: Grandia
Is there something that triggers the crashing? Maybe I should switch to my PS1

Re: Together Retro: Grandia
I'm playing it on the Vita now, as I just prefer playing RPGs on a handheld. I only just started tonight and I got past the stupid introduction fetch quest, thank God. Now the real adventure can start.
