True enough on all that, and yes the bigger problem are stores that don't limit one per person so the trash will walk into a store and buy the whole shelf. The store should care but doesn't because they got paid and don't think it would drive off future buyers being angry over it. It does nothing but line the pocket of an asshole because he got there as the door opened, good job on that eh? The people who likely legitimately love the game and wanted the statue in this case can now pay $110-170 on ebay for it (I checked it last night when I posted on paid wins.) That's not right and that's definitely NOT market value, it's you're being screwed value because the supply was artificially dried up in a matter of hours due to scalpers.

On Fry's website, they finally have a listing for Majora's Mask 3D, it's the vanilla version and it has a limit of one per household. If they do end up listing the Limited Edition (Nintendo lists them as one of the exclusive retailers for it), maybe it'll have a similar restriction.

I think it's b.s. that you can't find this. I can understand an LE from like NIS or XSeed getting an actual limited run due to the niche market. Zelda has a larger fan base than the lastest Disgaea title.

I'm not even a die-hard Nintendo fan and I'm disappointed. You'd think there would be plenty of stock for a Zelda game. I know it doesn't sell quite like Pokémon but still...

that statue is f'ing awesome. I'm not gonna get the remake though. But when it comes out I am thinking about re-playing the GCN version since I assume a bunch of you guys will be playing it on 3DS at the same time. A good excuse to revisit a great game.

Speaking about limiting supplies and being surprised, the New 3DS XL Majora's Mask is sold out on gamestop's site and in-store they are requesting full payment for reserving. Apparently eBay listing are up. I haven't searched but again, I'm not surprised.

Disgusting and not surprising. Pre-pay now, pre-sell to a person you screwed for a lot more. It's not so much that it's just done, but the mass amounts of it being done in very recent years. It's a shame there really is no true way to enforce scalping laws on behavior like this. I don't want it, never liked the game but damn it still annoys me seeing Majora lovers get taken to the bank over someone who got there first and prebought a bunch by some means or another.
