Come on, you apes! You wanna live forever? Farsight has announced January's table is Starship Troopers:

It is a great table, even if you dont like the theme. It will be trumped by February's release of Addams Family, but I hope it opens more doors into Sega's pinball history.

Anything Sega is cool with me. I also really enjoy the movie Starship Troopers. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I always loved it.

When I saw this month's reveal for ST, aside from the deal that FarSight just signed with Sony Pictures (this movie is one of them), I see nothing special about this particular table. Plus, I've never came across one. Now if we can see Johnny Mnemonic, then I'll talk.

This is Sega's first TPA table release, and we just had Data East's first table with Phantom of the Opera. Good to know that they want to get past Stern's offerings and dig a little deeper into their other divisions.

But I'm very happy to have EARTHSHAKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR this month! 4/5 wizard goals complete (of course) and a score over 20 million so far.

If anyone else plays Pinball FX 2 on Xbox, my gamertag is red21126. Would love to have more friends on the leaderboards.

While I prefer Pinball Arcade (PSN brad21126), I have a ton of tables for FX2.

The only important part of ST being released is that it is Sega and Sony's first tables. Which means we might get lucky and get other highly wanted IP based tables. Some will never happen, Doctor Who for example, but it means something like Jurassic Park is a possibility.

Just shy of 1.5 billion in Twilight Zone yesterday - best game of it I have ever had. Just got lucky with the multiple lost in the zones. And I am still far from understanding this one.

Alittle over 7 million in Getaway this morning - finally get the hang of that one.

Contemplating Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire - Wii U VC download (actually - maybe will look at using with the Game Boy Player). Anyone have opinions on it?

I didn't love Mario Pinball Land - even though I really wanted to. Physics seemed too linear, felt like the ball had a very finite amount of pre-determined angles.

I like MPL except I hate having to start over in certain areas if you can't get through some of the star doors. There's a lot of work with those wonky angles as you were saying.

It was developed by Fuse Games, who were responsible for the Pro Pinball series, they also did Metroid Prime Pinball for the DS.
