Name of the movie is simply "Go" Not a damn clue what it was about because it was all over the place. Made in 1999 (easier to look it up with the date).

It's about raves, tantra sex, a creepy gay cop, a white guy who thinks he's black, a drug deal gone bad, and how much The Family Circus sucks every Sunday. I freakin' love that movie! :D

Well, Orson Welles's last movie credit prior to his death was the voice of Unicron in the 1980's animated Transformers movie. I love that movie, but it's not actually very good.

I just saw Disney's The Princess and the Frog.

There's a lot of creative fun going on in this movie but it's also obvious the artists were placed under a yoke and that priority was given to traditional Disney Imperatives (TM) over actually making the film as fun as it could have been.

I liked the animation: there are a lot of fun touches, weird walks, funny dances and amusing character designs. But once Tiana starts talking everything fun takes a step back to hammer the same four or five ideas that are repeated all over the film (Guy is lazy, Tiana wants a restaurant, Evangeline, etc.). One gets the feeling that entire scenes come and go without any importance and many of the funny scenes like that one with the Frog Hunters are obvious filler as far as the narrative goes.

I don't regret watching the film but it's clear it's not as good as it could have been.

Not far from it. But He will be the voice of Simon Peggs talking dog in Absolutely Anything which should come out this year, and was in the last Night at the Museum film which came out several months after Angriest Man.

Oop, did not know about that movie. I'll definitely keep an eye out, Robin Williams so sporadic in his comedy. I was hoping the DVD would have more behind the scenes, I would love to have seen the extra footage of the director crew reaction of that video store clip I linked earlier.

Finally got round to seeing the Hobbit 3. I actually enjoyed it a lot more than expected. There are still flaws, I think they greatly deflated the Smaug scene to make the later stuff seem more epic and there's a lot of stuff the film glosses over but it was fun and unlike the other two films, I could sense the audience was engaged. There are some really weird almost psychedelic bits as well that I liked.
