One day it started raining, and it didn't quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin' rain... and big ol' fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath. Shoot, it even rained at night...

Just trying out Heavy Rain with the lady, since she really likes games with a heavy story focus. I'll keep at it.

And I will be all on that DonPachi once my faculties completely return. Friends don't let friends get sick and shmup.

Thank you heavenly sword for showing why sixaxis controls didn't caught on.

Probably uncharted and the last of us are the only games that use that in a good way by keeping them to a bare mininum.

Wait... the Last of Us used it? Must have taken it out of the PS4 edition. Good riddance. :lol:

In The Last of Us, sixaxis is used to fix your flashlight when it starts blinking/going out, like you are jiggling the batteries.

Heavy Rain is freakin' awesome. Thought I would hate it, loved it.

Why don't we have more videogames about things more dull than war and such? Like a game where you play as a kid screwing around in a neighborhood. Or play as a dog, doing dog things.

Probably. The only use was shake the controller when your flashlight was dying... pretty pointless actually.

Well i finished heavenly sword in one sitting and... is ok but the game is flawed and im the only one who feels that the framerate of this game is awful?

I know, man. While playing this game I thought up a new rule for good design: If your motion controlled mini-game will be boring as shit without the motion controls, toss it.

Yeah, there were some moments where to frame rate went straight through the floor.

Playing Theatrythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call makes me want to go back and play all the Final Fantasy games again and also makes me want to play the ones I've skipped and/or never finished...

I really thought FF7 was the all-time favorite RPG for everyone. I seriously think if you made a top 10 list historical games with each generation having 1-2 games to represent it, FF7 will easily make the list.

It was so revolutionary when it came out, thats how I remember it.

Also, why everyone is saying Panzer Dragoon Saga is one of their favorite RGPs? I thought it was a rail shooter

@TSTR
I didn't get what you mean by your Doctor-man reply

@MrPopo

thanks for the tip

How many hours was that? it took me a week.
It was more of a tech demo of the PS3 I guess.

About 6-7 hours. Im sure it would have been less but the final boss was a pain with the framerate going to hell. And it is a tech demo for the PS3 it has some nice ideas but are diminished by trying to show the power of the console.

Panzer Dragoon Saga is an RPG based on the first two Panzer Dragoon games, which were indeed rail shooters.
