GB:
1. Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow
2. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
3. Super Mario Land 2/Super Mario Land 3
Pokemon is a given. Probably dumped 1000 hours into this game as a kid. When I finally got my hands on it, video games didn't even exist anymore, it was just Pokemon. Everyone I knew was playing this, and it was all we talked about, from which pokemon were our favorites, to myths/glitches, to finding link cables to get those exclusives and trade for evolutions. It was such a fantastic game, and the first game that I really was able to experience with others, instead of sitting in my room alone playing. Link's Awakening was the first Zelda game I ever owned, and though I struggled with it, I very much enjoyed it. I still have fond memories of hunting down all of those little conchs, and that epic 6-boss ending. The Mario Land games both had a pretty big impact on me as well, and its too difficult to pick one over the other. I played them pretty close to each other, and just having the experience of encountering Wario as the last boss, and then playing as him in the next game, was very interesting to me as a kid. Both games feel very unique, and I still revisit them regularly.
DS:
1. Bomberman DS
2. Mario Kart DS
3. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Bomberman and Mario Kart make it here because, when I was in high school, we played these games en mass every day at lunch. Actually having 8 people racing or blowing each other up was just awesome, and we had so many people that we actually had to rotate. Playing these games in such a large group helped me get over my extreme shyness, and I made a lot of close friends thanks to these 2 games and tcgs my freshman year. DOS, on the other hand, was just awesome. I had never played SotN, so this was my first real exposure to the style. I did just about everything there was to do in the game, and still kept playing it from there. Collecting souls was so addicting!
3DS:
1. Pokemon X/Y
2. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
3. Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Similar to the DS stuff, all of these games hold a special place for me because, on top of them being excellent, I had a group of friends to play them with. Being older now, I really miss getting into a large group just to play some game, but luckily we were able to do this with all 3 games. My gf and I played Pokemon at the same time, experiencing the story and battling gym leaders simultaneously. We even both ended up EV/IV breeding and training, and both dumped about 400 hours into the game. MH3U was the first MH game that really clicked with me. I finally understood how the game really works, and that made it much easier to share the tips with the girl and our friends. We would meet once a week at her brothers house, with 7-8 people regularly showing up, and just hunt/die for hours on end. AC is one that both my girl and I have always enjoyed, but this one really felt like a true expansion of the original game, with tons of fresh ideas. A lot of our friends were playing at the same time, and thanks to online, we could even spend time in towns with friends from high school that have since moved far away. All 3 of these games mean a lot to me, as gaming with people is what I enjoy the most.

Interesting that you chose Castlevania HOD over AOS or COTM, many reguard HOD the weakest in the GBA trilogy, not a bad game by any stretch though, I think it is magnificent. You can really see they listened to peoples complaints about COTM being too dark on a the original GBA and made the game much brighter, a bit too bright on the backlit gba models imo
I'd say my favorite is AOS but my most nostalgic is COTM since that was the very first game I got with my GBA on my birthday way back in 2001

Yeah, my issue is that I didn't really like Aria of Sorrow. None of them are really bad games, but Harmony of Dissonance is what I liked the most.

SEGA Game Gear:
Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Pac-Man
Only had this system for a month, so not a lot to say. I think it's a really solid system. Sucks that the battery life on the thing sucks, though. :/
Game Boy:
Pokemon Yellow
Kirby's Dream Land
Looney Tunes
Probably just nostalgia talking, but I still really love Game Boy titles. They have a certain magic to them, tbh.
3DS:
Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS
Pokemon Y
Sonic Lost World
Easily one of my favorite portable systems. I love all the software in it. The games on the 3DS are a lot more interesting, compared to the DS, IMO.

Good choice. This game is brilliant, funny, gorgeous and woefully under-appreciated.
Exhuminator wrote:I have only finished Ace Attorney and Justice For All. I loved Ace Attorney, especially the final case. However I found Justice For All to be a dramatic reduction in quality and it was a chore to finish that one. I'm planning on playing Trials And Tribulations soon, hopefully it pulls the series back up to the quality of the first game.
(To be fair I read that Capcom rushed the hell out of Shu Takumi to finish up Justice For All in less than a year, but he was given two years to finish Trials And Tribulations after critical backlash.)
Trials and Tribulations starts off slow and builds to the series' most dramatic climax in my opinion.
Justice for All is generally considered the weakest of the "original trilogy."

I kind of wish the Metroidvania aspect was a little more fleshed out and that the enemy spawns were more random but those are minor complaints. It's one of the best games to make use of the Aliens license.
No particular orders to anything:
Game Boy
Mega Man V
Donkey Kong
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
Game Boy Advance
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Metroid Fusion
Astro Boy: Omega Factor
Nintendo DS
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (series)
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Infinite Space
Nintendo 3DS
Super Smash Bros. 3DS
Star Fox 64: 3D
Super Mario 3D Land
Game Gear
Sonic the Hedgehog
Dragon Crystal
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie

I'll give ya that; the Sonic games (save for Chronicles; screw that game) on the DS were really awesome, compared to the 3DS outings.

I just meant that I liked the 3DS software in general more than the DS'. DS has some great games, don't get me wrong; just had more fun with 3DS, for some reason.
