Had to do a force shutdown by holding the power button for 4 seconds. I've had hard freezes with the annoying buzzing sound when it does but, this is first with my screen going like this.

I've had that happen before. No clue what caused it.

I like how they named their registers. Makes it explicit that those are the general purpose registers.

Why do you think COD on Wii U is most fun? Is there like some sort of extra features?

No. No extra features or anything different from the other consoles. But because the community is so small I run into the same few people now and again. It feels like a much tighter community. There is about 700 to 900 in Team Deathmatch at any given time while a couple hundred more are in Deathmatch and Search.

Actually there is the option of using either traditional controller layout or the Wii Remote and Nunchuk combo. So there's an extra feature.

well...
I think its nice you still can find people playing COD OP2 on Wii U. I imagine there are very few people still playing that game on ps3/360. Its 2 years old and these types of games have their major players moving to the next release on yearly basis, unlike something like Halo which will last for few years at least.

I've noticed that the Wii U version has system link as well. I didn't know the U can do that. I guess through wireless network right? Not like the Xbox where you can use hardwire as well as wireless.

It's not an official system feature, it just means they implemented LAN play into the game.

My fiancée got me a Wii U for Christmas -- She got a good deal on it: $250 for the Deluxe system new with the Super Mario 3D World and Nintendoland bundled with it.

In addition to the bundled games, I have bought so far:

Bayonetta 2 (with Bayonetta 1 included)
Super Luigi U
Pikmin 3
Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze
Mario Kart 8
Super Smash Brothers Wii U
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge
Wonderful 101
Windwaker HD (not sure if I want to keep this one; haven't opened yet. The bloom seems very overdone and I really like the richer colors of the GCN version, of which I have two complete copies)

Got most of the games for ~$30 each during the holidays, as Kmart had some 1st party games marked down to that amount, so I feel like I lucked out. Got Ninja Gaiden for $5 at Walmart, Luigi For $15 at Kmart as well, and Wonderful 101 for $10 at Toys R Us. Got Bayonetta for $20 at Walmart after using a Christmas gift card I had!

So far I have really been enjoying the system--I just love it! It's really nice to be able to play while in bed as well using the gamepad (aside from having to move the console to the bedroom haha).

I am really looking forward to some of the upcoming releases. A few I am hoping to come out (perhaps longshots) are a new Chibi Robo (favorite game from the GCN library, my favorite console of all time), a new Rogue Squadron game, and a stand-alone Fire Emblem.

Hopefully the Wii U picks up some steam so that we can see a lot of unique titles come out for it (even more than we currently have, but I am certainly satisfied for the foreseeable future).

Amiibos seem cool, but there is just no way I am going to spend $13 per figure. I'd rather have more games than figures that unlock items, characters, etc. I understand some people would want to collect them though. I have been a collector/player for many years (and was into figures at one point as well) but am now transitioning to just being a player, because I find that it is more rewarding.

I actually bought a PS4 as well, but returned it a week after purchasing because between the PC and Wii U (and dozens of other consoles and hundreds of games in the backlog) I am all set. LOL

Strangely, I kind of hope that it doesn't. The lack of third-party releases will result in the overwhelming majority of the system's library being developed or published by Nintendo. Since Nintendo makes such great games, I can see the system's good game/bad game ratio eventually surpassing that of DSH's beloved 32X.

I also received a WiiU for Christmas, and I have added a few third-party titles to my collection. They include:

Batman: Arkham City - Armored Edition ($10)
Batman: Arkham Origins ($10)
Ducktales Remastered ($6)
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two ($6)
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed Bonus Edition ($6)

I am really looking forward to adding some first-party games, however, and I suspect I will be acquiring Bayonetta 2, DKCR: Tropical Freeze, and Hyrule Warriors fairly soon.
