ps3 harddrive
Re: ps3 harddrive
It still falls under the catagory of "pain in the ass" while my PS3 was just plug and play (yay integrated wireless). Hell, the Wii has integrated wireless and is cheaper than the decent 360 package. Regardless, I'm just running an ethernet cable to my 360.

It's not half as bad as you make it out though. Really. As for the Wii having wireless, It's not cheaper than the 'decent' 360 in this country. It's the same price. Yes after adding some sort of wireless solution it's more expensive, but if you are smart about it it's not that much of a dent to your wallet and you have the opportunity of adding wireless to all your consoles.MrPopo wrote:It still falls under the catagory of "pain in the ass" while my PS3 was just plug and play (yay integrated wireless). Re: ps3 harddrive
any easy way to migrate save games and dlc to a new harddrive? will re-downloading dlc games count as one of the 5 activated systems allowances?
Re: ps3 harddrive
Save games can be easily transferred with a USB stick. Not sure if you can do the same with your DLC. I also have no idea if that counts as one of the five activations to redownload on the same system.

Re: ps3 harddrive
it doesnt, thats why your PS3 formats the new hdd if its been in another PS3. It then saves its own serial number to the harddrive.MrPopo wrote:Save games can be easily transferred with a USB stick. Re: ps3 harddrive
Be aware, when you install Linux, you get a 10 GB partition and a everything else partition. You can choose which partition Linux and the PS3 gets, but you don't get any options but that.
