For instance a lot of animations, models and textures were re-done and look better but i believe the game still runs on the same engine as the N64 but just heavily modified since sometimes when you engage in conversations with NPC's the camera can get behind a piece of the scenery bloking your view on Link and the other character.

I feel is more like the middle of the road half remake half enhanced port, it changes the right things to make it work on the 3DS and also to eliminate the aged aspects of the original, though some are still there, but keeps a lot of thing from the original changing almost nothing from the level layouts of the dungeons or the world itself.
I'm going to go with enhanced port since from everything i've heard convinces me of such since all they did was enhance it since I think the 3ds might be on the same level as maybe gamecube so it could actually handle graphics with more polygons(at least I would think it's on that level...)

edit: also minecraft: story mode? what the heck, and how did this happen?

I don't have Xbox Live any more but can any one tell me, can you still find people playing online earlier games like Gears of War and Halo 3?

I know on the PC you can always find some small community that are still playing some sort of an older game. I think you still can find Doom(1993) matches online!

Mario Bros: Lost Levels is fun but it really is wildly hard. Was that their goal?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

There are waaaaay too many "gotcha" and "sucker!" moments in that game that are clearly intentional.

I decided not to train a guy in Fire Emblem and now he's one of the guys helping the second generation characters I'm having trouble keeping alive.

Derp

I'm playing one of the Super Nintendo games so casual wasn't invented yet.

That would be the case. You said 'second gen' so I assumed Awakening.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Awakening is kind of a "best of" and took the generation idea from the game I'm playing, which is Genealogy of the Holy War. Though it's different because there's no time travel, so you play with the fathers first and then you play with the children and some characters that are still alive (Like the guy I didn't train).
