Played the first two quests in the storyline set to level 30 (chars: 2 lvl 28's and a 30) and it was pretty difficult/fun!

I am liking the sword integration making a comeback.

So I have played the raid until the end, but could not beat Crota.

It feels shorter but really it has no filler. Really enjoyable raid, the bridge section has a pretty bad cheese, so hopefully they get onto it sooner rather than later.

I got the raid chest piece and will hopefully have enough glimmer to level up one of my exotics before Xur leaves the tower, I should hit level 31 today, putting me in better shape for the final fight of the raid.

Did anyone get this for the holidays on PS3?
I have been soloing everything. I am a level 11 hunter and soloed "The Sword of Crota" at lv10 last night.
I am enjoying the game, but I think I would like it much better with other players.

I have debated picking it up to play with my brother and you for a bit early next year - i keep looking for a deal around $30 or so for it, though, as I really am not keen on dropping a bunch for the PS3 version considering I already bought the PS4 version.

I had a blast playing the Beta with y'all...

Up to lvl 10 now and I'm kind of losing interest :P. The story just seems bland, quests are repetitive, and the MP is completely unbalanced for early players. The only thing I really have cared for so far is the Raids which while awesome seem to become a cluster fudge thanks to constant enemy waves during the boss battles which results in a lot of turtling.

Hit lvl 23 last time I was on and I have completed all the base content. Overall I wasn't super impressed by the story or the amount of content, but I've had fun with the game. Pretty much I just stick to the Raid playlist now since the game is so much better in co-op and you receive a nice variety of loot each mission.

Really wish there was a season pass for the DLC since I don't feel like paying $20 for each mini expansion and the $35 for 2 expansion pack isn't very appealing.

Anyways if anyone feels like playing I will probably be on later tonight.

How are you Raiding at 23? Seems wicked low, does it even let you access the VoG at 23?

Pretty sure the two expansions will be all Destiny gets as the stand alone expansion, Comet, will be released some time later next year. I am not sure if it is cheaper or how it will work for original Destiny owners as it has not been revealed. (Comet itself has not officially been revealed, just from leaked information that has come true so far).
