Re: Amiibo!!
If anyone manages to locate an extra Pit in their region (that's a really awkward beginning to a sentence...), I'd be happy to buy it + shipping and possibly a nominal finder's fee. Lemme know dudes.

That's a perfectly reasonable beginning to a sentence in these crazy times.DonSilvestre wrote:If anyone manages to locate an extra Pit in their region (that's a really awkward beginning to a sentence...), I'd be happy to buy it + shipping and possibly a nominal finder's fee. Lemme know dudes.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Re: Amiibo!!
Picked up a Pit and a Captain Falcon from work tonight. I'm glad I did, because an hour after I pulled them from the shelf, some kid came in and bought all our captain falcons and was looking for pit (I had the last one). He then asked for GAmecube controller adapters for the Wii U and my response was, "Ooohhh reselling these online?"
His response. "Nah...these are for my cousin."
Soooooo.....those 4 Captain Falcons are for your cousin?

bogus, he's making a captain falcon army for 8-player smash.
Do any of you guys actually have/use the GC adapter? I prefer wireless controllers, tbh. I hate cords strung across a room.

toysrus has the b1g1 40% off on amiibo again. Or if you like decorations that actually do something in the game; Skylanders and Infinity are on the same promotion

Beyond the Milliseconds worth of response time involved with a wired controller, the Pro Controller and Even the Gamepad itself are very comfortable and work wonderfully.Opa Opa wrote:bogus, he's making a captain falcon army for 8-player smash.

Fwiw, Falcon and Pit have been coming in and out of stock at gamestop.com. If you order from Toys Я Us, try to order in quantities greater than (1). They've got a knack for shipping singles in a crummy bubble mailer. I had to make a few returns to get some beauties.

Re: Amiibo!!
I went to Target today to pick up a movie. While there I checked the Amiibo display and as usual it was near empty. I turned a corner to proceed to the checkout when, to my delight, I noticed one of their stock carts full of new Amiibo. Pit and Falcon now have a home on my shelf.

Virtually all of my luck has dried up here in Paris. Neither Micromania or FNAC have anything other than commons. No dice anywhere for Villager or Marth. Saw a Wii Fit Trainer but she doesn't interest me. No Pit or Falcon either! Did see a villager in the arrondissement where Paris has most of its retro game shops, he was marked up to 40€ which is too steep for me and I'd rather roll my chances on a reprint.
I think I've been to all of the stores in inner Paris. My wife has been very patient. I'll keep an eye out for those who have PMed me.
I preordered Sheik and Toon Link from Amazon. I wish I could've preordered Sonic!
