Obviously do whatever you feel is right. Or make a hack that gives the player the choice of ambient orchestrated or heavy metal remix

Eeeeeuuuuughhhh. I kinda...hate that. A lot. Again, I'm not a huge Metroid fan, but this just seems
wrong for Super Metroid. That being said, it's a totally subjective thing, and the information on how to do it yourself has been released, so if that's what you're going for, great.
As for me, if and when we get Metroid MSU'd, I'll be using the orchestral stuff. The weird thing is, I'm actually a huge metal fan normally. But to my way of thinking, Metaltroid just doesn't work.
