I wrote some stuff in the Games Beaten thread if you think you might wanna try the game out. I really enjoyed it despite the rather glaring issues it has. I think you might dig it though.

More Grid 2. Reflections and lighting can be really rather nice.

More! I don't like it as much as DriveClub but Grid 2 is definitely growing on me. Unlike the first game, which, frankly, I thought was a bit shit.

More 1440p Half Life 2 but this time with 8x MSAA for some rather staggering image quality. Holy IQ batman I've never seen such a lack of jaggies, other than on a high-dpi display like the rMBP and iPad. Really stunning actually. I'd say take a 1440p monitor over a 144hz one any day at this point. As always open in a new tab to see the full size image.

Thanks. I'm particularly happy with the leaping fast zombie and the Combine soldier shots. I don't really have a good eye for taking screenshots (or photography) but I'm getting better.

There's something unsettling about the faces in Advanced Warfare. I'm not sure if it's just uncanny valley or what. Are you enjoying it?

immensely actually. Personally, I'm a fan of that sort of futuristic/almost sci-fi thing. So robo-arms and double-jumps etc make the "realistic" war stuff work better for me. The game is actually really fast-paced as far as the story is concerned. The missions have all been really cool so far. There's been some exciting moments as well. It's just a damn fun ride and a treat to look at.
