It's not a good assumption to make. It's an incredibly small, weight-less item that will probably come by gigantic boat carrying ten thousand container equivalents each up to maximun load of 15 tons.ninjainspandex wrote:I would assume shipping even a small little package to the US from China would cost more than $1.67 how are they making any profit?
When you think of the cost of sending a package from China, think of freight, not how much it would cost you on the post office. UPS doesn't have something like this:

The postage calculation for ePacket is per kilo base, and the domestic First Class Mail is per package base.
Imagine:
A Chinese Seller, who sell iPhone screen protector, weights about 50 grams (2 oz), sells about 100 a day, how much he need to pay?
50 grams x 100 pieces of mail = 5 kilo = $19.30/kilo x 5 kilo = $96 (the ePacket have tracking include already)
