Re: Playstation Vita thread
*insert PS4 titles if you have one here*
My parents always tie up the TV but luckily for me and anybody else, PS4 remote play is far more comprehensive than it was on PS3. It's certainly not latency free like the Wii U Gamepad but it's totally usable for most games. I've played through what I have of Alien Isolation on my Vita in bed with a good set of headphones. Works great.

Older. Not wiser.

I was walking around my yard playing Watch Dogs just to test out the feature when I first bought my PS4, and I was impressed by how far away it I had to walk for the connection to cut-out. This was using my old shitty router too, I'll have to retest with my current model sometime.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:*insert PS4 titles if you have one here*

The only thing I didn't like was using the touch pad for L2/R2; it just isn't the same without something to physically squeeze. Sony should launch an add-on grip with the buttons included, much like Nintendo did for the 3DS.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
Anyone heard about the new SaGa being release for Vita (only?), given that the last SaGa on PS2 was controversial, I do wonder what direction will SE go with?
Right now I am seeing 16GB Vita memory cards going on clearance in Target, but I already have a 32GB, still a bit tempted about a 64GB.
Did anyone here DL Suikoden II for their Vita?

Re: Playstation Vita thread
I just picked one up (vita tv) for my daughter she didn't open it yet, it's great if you understand what you'll use it for. Also the memory cards are pricey and be sure to check the compatibility game list.
It can be used for remote play and I'm hoping to get some more through out my house for different rooms if the entertainment options increase. It's sleek simple and pretty neat system, Sony Quality of course!
I wonder if it can be used for some LAN party action?

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
I am not fully sold on the Vita TV, as some key applications are not available, as well as some key games. But I have read, as long as you have good internet connection, you shouldn't have too much lag problems.TEKTORO wrote:I just picked one up (vita tv) for my daughter she didn't open it yet, it's great if you understand what you'll use it for. Re: Playstation Vita thread
I just realized that I forgot to write back after asking about Vita recommendations. Sorry for that.
Honestly I'm surprised I found so many from you guys that looks interesting. I wasn't expecting to see so many games I hadn't even heard the names of. Especially wasn't expecting to see so many interesting visual novel style games for Vita, that's a nice plus.
Thanks for all the help then guys. Btw I've started playing Gravity Rush for my first Vita game and it's quite a blast. I've heard people say that the combat is bad, and I can already see some flaws in that area, but I get the feeling that the rest of the game will more than make up for it.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
It's a common problem that people aren't aware of just how many games the Vita actually has. It's not so much ignorance on behalf of the gamers as it is a generalized slant of the gaming media. For example this year someone at USGamer wrote an article saying the Vita barely got any games in 2014. I left a comment mentioning tons of games the Vita got in 2014. The author then retorted and said something to the effect of "well those games don't really count and you're not helping the case" or some such bullshit. Anyway, while it's true there are too many great Vita games left unlocalized in Japan, we have enough in English now to make the system certainly worth owning. I'm always happy to see another gamer enjoying the system.
