With this thread bumped it feels like a fine time to say thank you and much love to everyone who's shown compassion, love, and respect for my trans sisters and myself.
Ya'll are cool, and it's way more than most gaming spaces would do.

male, female, trans, whatever... we're all nerds. <3
You three trans folks enrich the racketboy community by giving us a glimpse of what it's like to walk a mile in your shoes. By sharing your stories with us, you teach us to better empathize with other MtF people.
Thanks. You girls rock.

And if you girls can learn to roll as well I see an awesome girl band in your future. But the question is, what kind of band would you be?
Transgender- someone who identifies as a different gender than they were assigned at birth.
Gender Dysphoria- discontent/dissatisfaction with someone's assigned gender, characterized as a general feeling of "wrongness" directed towards one's body, genitals, or gender presentation/social aspects
Cisgender- someone who identifies as the same gender they were assigned at birth.
MtF- male to female
FtM- female to male.
AMAB/DMAB- Assigned/Designated Male at Birth. better than saying "used to be a guy/born a guy"
AFAB/DFAB- Assigned/Designated Female at Birth. See AMAB/DMAB
Intersex- someone with characteristics that make designating male/female at birth ambiguous (chromosomes, ambiguous genitals, etc.). Huge umbrella.
CAMAB/CAFAB- Coercively Assigned Male/Female at birth. Doctors will sometimes see ambiguous genitalia and operate on the baby to make them appearance-wise more in line with male or female genitals. Highly controversial, but still common practice.
HRT- hormone replacement therapy
SRS/GRS/GCS- sex reassignment surgery/gender reassignment surgery/gender confirming surgery. All 3 terms of used, mean the same thing, though the second is popular in medical fields because it shares an acronym with genital reconstruction surgery, but the first and last are more "accurate"
I know this was unwarranted/unasked for but meh.

I think the term SRS - Sex Reassignment Surgery, is highly incorrect on a technical level. Sex is genetic and cannot be changed, being chromosomally defined. Gender is cultural with biological and anatomical elements, so GRS/GCS would be the most technically correct.
