Using Guncon 2 with Sony kv-34hs420

Post by adosta »

Hello, I recently got a Sony kv-34hs420 CRT TV and a pair of Guncon 2, I've been testing them, but so far no luck, a few times the crosshair appears but it moves quickly from side to side. What could be the problem? I've trying to find an answer online but it is hard with such old devices. Thank you for your time.

It's an HDTV. Has HDMI input and 1080i support.

Sorry, that wasn't quite clear, I tested the PS2 with the composite, component and S-video connections, wouldn't it work with the standard definitions from those?

Not if the TV does not interlace in the same method.

OK, I see, so there is no way to use the guncons with that TV, maybe some changes to the settings?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but its just not going to work with most old light guns. Here is a good racketboy thread for you to examine with tons of more info. http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18367
