We just got another cat, so now my cat from last December has a new kid sister:

Look at the M on the forehead, we have two cats, a real kick. When one wanders away to another room, the other parks right on your lap. I predict more cats by summer, and no not from the two you already have

That picture is too darn cute!J T wrote:We just got another cat, so now my cat from last December has a new kid sister...
They get along well, I take it? I've never known anyone who added a kitten to the family and didn't have the already-established cat presence in the household draw an invisible "mine/yours" line through the entire building, to be crossed at the newcomer's peril. I'm happy to possibly hear otherwise!

The picture is a lie. If you look closely you can see the hatred in the top cat's eyes. Lines were being drawn in that very moment, though I caught it at just the right time so that it could be perceived as cute.
It's been about 4-5 days now though, and they are finally getting along. They've been playing together, sleeping together, and eating together. It took a lot of work though, with lots of special attention and allowances given to the OG cat. Now, this picture of them being sweet with each other is actually real. Things had gotten awfully quiet and I thought something must be wrong, so I went to find them and found this:

Re: Pet Pics
I grew up with cats. Love cats so much. My wife is allergic (fatally so, as in within 2 hours she is noticeably having a hard time breathing - within 4 hours she needs to leave or risks passing out her airway is so constricted - once she gets to the point, the next 2 days are shot as she recovers - it's basically like recovering from a nasty cold).
My point? I hate you guys and your cats.
