Xbox 360 - Run emulators from DVD?

Anyone know if it's possible to run emulators from a burned dvd rather than from a hard drive?

I have a jailbroken Japanese 360 and would like to get Final Burn Alpha running on it.

Edit: If no one knows, anyone know a good forum to ask this kinda stuff? I have no idea about jailbroken xbox's or any more recent gen stuff. I could get a hard drive as they're not expensive, but I have a load of DVD's lying around so would like to make use of what I already have if possible.

Thanks man, I stumbled on that website too, tried to register using two different emails but it said I was a spammer. Tried contacting the mods.

Ordered a hard drive anyway so guess that's that.
