Gamecube Controller for 2D games?
Does anyone know of a Gamecube controller that works well for 2d games like Metal Slug Anthology and such? I know about the Gameboy Player controller, but that's too expensive. Are there anymore cost effective options?
Insert clever quote here.

There was a Pelican one that was similar but should be cheaper if you can find it. Otherwise you might get a playstation to gamecube adapter and a controller like the madcatz retrocon.

the Pelican Retro Pad... I actually thought the dpad was better than on the Hori Game Boy Player pad.Purkeynator wrote:There was a Pelican one that was similar but should be cheaper if you can find it.

The Pelican Retro Pad must be a pretty rare item. Nothing on amazon or ebay currently. I bet it would be a great alternative to the hori gc pad.
