Shining Force II.

One of the biggest reasons behind this is its multi-player mode. Enter in a code and you can control the enemies. Give that to your friend and get ready for an insanely challenging, but fun experience. Add to it the plethora of hidden characters and secrets and you are in for a great treat that will last for a lifetime.
