Postmodern fun on xbox live

Post by Chrono »

I say postmodern as it takes away from what i'm actually doing...

So do you play Halo 3 online and cringe when you get teabagged by a slack jawed adolescent with a voice so high it burns your ears? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em

Thats right, me and a bunch of my mates are joining together and being complete arses on live, and i've never had more fun. Teabagging and bad sportsmanship is so unexpectedly great that I implore you all to put on your headset and get cracking.

This is a call to arms, add Hominic and get ready for some offensive fun

Gamegear, Lynx, Gameboy (100s of the bloody things), Game & Watches (coming out of my ears)

And this is one of the reasons I refuse to pay for a Live subscription.

wait- the tea bagging from children is the reason you refuse to pay? Or is it the tomfoolery of chrono?

Kinda the reason i don't play halo is the shitty people it attracts. If i wanted to be teabagged by children I WOULD BE IN JAIL AND NOT ON XBOX LIVE. Now team fortress 2, left 4 dead, and to a lesser degree the call of duty games usually attract a more adult crowd.

Yeah, stick to the non noob games on xbox live and you won't really have a problem. Also, stick to the older titles, they tend not to have as many kids playing as they have long since gotten bored and bought the latest Halos of War 3 or what ever is 'cool' 'dude' these days.

Forza had a lot of dumbasses playing that couldn't drive at all and ended up ruining the entire race at the first corner (unless you were first out of the gate of course) but now there's hardly any dumbasses playing, just normal people who are skilled at driving and don't ram you off the road shouting nonsensical bollocks at you.

true- though i don't think being bad a game is grounds for being a dick. Being bad on purpose however....

I really don't understand the mentality of playing a game and then not playing? Spending your time finding a game online with people and then not fully participating just doesn't make sense to me. All that happens is the people who want to play groan and log off to find another game. It inconveniences them by like 5 minutes and... is it funny? I don't get it?

Sigged.

The idiots on Live is one of the reasons I don't pay. Not being interested in any of the 360 exclusive multiplayer games is another. The third is I have strong philosophical objections to having to pay for Live.

Bingo.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

I've been been an outright asshat playing stuff like halo on live. When people were being their normal asstastic selves I would team up with my friend (I usually played split screen) for some major ass kicking in matches though.
