While the situation is not great, remember not to buy into all the anti-Islamic shit the media is spewing in order to get views / sell papers.

There have been so many corrections in the past 24 hours it is ridiculous.
For sure. I can't remember the last time I read a paper. I've been following the story on BBC.

Smile: Step-daughter has play practice till 6:30pm tonight so I got to sleep in. Plan is to come into work late and leave late so I'm not wasting time or working for free.

Frown: Found out after showing up two hours later than usual that her practice got cancelled...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

8) Cleaning the garage today I found a Final Fantasy Mystic Quest instructions + map, one of those old How to Win at Game Boy Games books, and some Super Mario comics. Probably haven't seen this stuff in 20 years.

Cool find. I still have that map and manual and they're fun to have, useful too. I used to have all the old Valiant Mario comics as they're goofy fun. I do have one of the two hardback collections of those things with the others they did too, wish I had the just Mario one but I always forget to pick it up. So, I think it's time to poke around ebay and see if it's up or down as it goes all over the place.

BIG SMILE: :D
Bone! Thanks for reminding me. Of all the dumb luck of ebay. Someone just posted both the books in a set for $35 shipped and listed them as NEW. I've rarely seen the Mario one alone go for that alone in good shape. Now I've got a spare though, I'll possibly save it for my kid when she's a little older so the nicer one doesn't get wrecked.

Smile: I've finally completed the pre-engineering program at my school and am ready to transfer to the state university. It seems like it took forever, but it's just been two long years. I've also put a small dent into my 3rd year and completed all the bullshit electives, so I'm a bit ahead of schedule too.

Frown: Other than learning some programming tricks through the Java and C++ courses, all I've really gotten out of it so far is useless procedural academic math and learning just how much it really sucks ass to work on a team with incompetent programmers. I hope engineering really does pay off, I can't seem to shake the notion that I'll just end up back in a dead-end electrician job with 4 years pissed down the drain. But I guess at the end of the day a BSE couldn't hurt, and it needed to happen if I want to have a chance at getting ahead regardless.

:D Semester is over for me now.

:? Waiting on the key for my chemistry final. Its not always right, but it gives me a good idea of where I will be at.

EDIT: Definitely got a passing grade, possibly a C depending on things.

8) After slowly fumbling through college only taking classes when and where I could afford them I have finally been able to determine a graduation date. August 2016.

Studying E-Commerce this semester. Maybe I can talk to Luke if I need help.

:x - man this has been a horrible past month...holiday rush plus I'm hurting and cutting myself like crazy at work. I've dropped a case of evaporated milk on my foot, got a blood blister on my pinky(followed by a paper cut over zed busted blister), and cut my arm on a box(stupid thing litterally took a small chunk out of my forearm). Not to mention I've probably bruised my knees working....I've got to stop hurting myself but that stupid 55 cases/hour is getting annoying because whoever came up with that line of crap apparently has never needed to stop for a drink of water or something. Also still three guys short(getting ready to be four because the assistant grocery manager is going to another store to be a grocery manager again)...and not the best time of year to be short people
