So what's the word, dsh? Did we get enough donations this year?

Noise mentioned this in passing the other day. Don't we normally have this stickied in the marketplace? This is the first time i've seen the thread. I'm guessing many of us have not seen this at all.

What is the status right now, Dave? How many items do you have so far? Can you extend it a few days? Til' Wednesday maybe?

Just a suggestion, but maybe the time to except donations should be extended. If only for a few more days. With people thinking it was a thread from 2012, to Hobie only putting it under announcements two days ago, to mjmjr only just seeing the thread... I feel like there must be members that would donate (that do every year) but missed the chance.

By a quick count we have close to about 50 items. I'll extend the deadline by a few more days - until Wednesday as suggested - to see if we can't get closer to 100. I'll get it up and running this weekend and run it through January 4th instead of ending it on January 2nd.

So, if you have something that you think people would bid on (even if it is a cheaper item), please send something along!

The admonition against donating stuff that has been languishing on one's trade list is mostly to keep this from being a dumping ground of cheap $2-$5 games that no one bids on and that cost more to ship than they bring in. In the past, people have successfully bundled a bunch of these titles and sold lots for $10-$15+ and that works pretty well, so maybe that would be an option for those of you on the fence. In any case, I do hope people don't take the request for quality items too seriously, so please send along things you think might move!

In that case, I definitely have at least a couple items, maybe more. I'll get back to you by Wednesday with the requested donation format and pics, etc...
