Found Little Mac which was cool. The card is a tad dinged up but nothing most people would care about. Only reason I even noticed was because the other two I got were pretty much pristine. And wouldn't you know? The kid offered to go in the back and look for me (see above).

I don't even know if some stores have gotten around to putting these out yet. They didn't even have pegs for the new waves of figures. Only reason I asked was because they had the tags for a couple like Zelda and Diddy Kong sitting in a pile next to the display

Yeah there are no tags at most of the stores. Because of that, they just assume they don't exist and I was crazy. Glad you were able to score one though! Been playing around with my Fox character. They are around level 30-ish and getting a lot better as time progresses. Starting to get a bit more challenging.

Don't worry BMF, I feel you bro. I went to Gamestop today because their online availability said they had both Diddy Kong (Was honestly checking for your wife, JMustang) and Little Mac, and no dice. Toys R Us had plenty of Zelda and the rest of Wave 1 minus Villager, Marth, and Wii Fit Trainer, of course.

So far I have:

Link
Zelda
Donkey Kong
Mario
Fox
Samus

I'm going to be out of the country as of Wednesday, so I will take my hunting to another continent, y'all. Want me to keep an eye out, since they're not region locked? I'd do that for you all, because, I love you all.

Just realized that training your amiibo has them mimic your playstyle, not learn how to play against your playstyle. Well that stinks. I wanted a Fox player that would take me down, not play like me. I play a Mr. Game & Watch and wanted the amiibo to adapt to my playstyle and abuse my shortcomings.

I'm trying to figure out an eastern-themed sensei-like message to part with you, but I'm at a loss.

Something like, "By knowing yourself, only then will you see your weakness, and your true potential."

Yeah, that'll do.

Is the ToysRUs website not accurate? I'm able to add all of the amiibo (except Marth and Villager) to my cart, plus 40% off every 2nd item. This includes Starfox, Little Mac and Diddy Kong. Unless they cancel they order - it looks like i'm getting 6 of them to my door for $65 shipped.

Also - not sure about region coding on these - but for the "rares" you can get them on play-asia for $20/ea:

Hmm weird, it shows Little Mac as not available to ship to home

They aren't region locked, which got me slightly excited. Oh wait, Villager is out of stock and backordered while Marth is straight up out of print/out of stock.

Fuck Amiibo.

Mike, I'm pretty sure the Toys 'R' Us website is not correct, Little Mac is only store pickup for me. I'd jump on it if you have any remote interest, or wait it out until they're reprinted. As for the 40% off, I'm not getting that either, though last week (Friday), they were buy one, get one 40% off in the store. Good luck!

As for the region, no region lock whatsoever. If you weren't keeping them in their boxes, it'd be fine to purchase the Japanese version.
