I don't see the problem with keeping the amiibos sealed in the box, since is translucid you can still see the figure in all it's glory and ,at least for me, i don't plan to use them with a wiiu, at least not any time soon. Also they look nice in the box... complete.

I actually like the packaging and think they look pretty decent in there (Samus, Marth), so I've had no problem keeping mine in the package. I think the brighter "Nintendo" colored cards don't look quite as good though.

Going to take a trip on lunch to look for Little Mac. Lord knows I'm probably too late, but who knows.

So I had to go grocery shopping today and saw on-line that the Target directly next door to my grocery store had Little Macs in stock. I go there, ask for help and they shrug and say, "We don't have a spot for it on the shelf so we don't have any."

I tell them the website says they have it in stock, she pulls out her little Scanner and says, "This says we don't." even though she pushed no buttons on the thing. I show her my phone and she says, "let me check on my phone." I wait...she goes, "nope..website tells me we don't have any."

I ask to see a manager, she gets one and the manager says, "If she says we don't have one, we don't have one. sorry."

Call up my work and have them check the stock of the meijer I go grocery shopping, says they have 4. Which means they are still in a box somewhere in the back.

I go in, don't see it on the shelf, talk to the lady and her response is, "If it isn't on the shelf it's not here." I tell her that I checked the stock and it says she has 4 and she says, "We don't keep anything in the back," (a lie...because I freaking work in this same department at another store). I ask to see the manager and the response is the same, "If they say we don't have any in, we don't have any." BUT IT SAYS YOU DO!!!!!!!! FRAGGLE ROCK! Just fucking check your M-Carts in the back it is in a freaking box....for the love of god just check! You people suck at your job!!!!

And I work retail. I would check for a person...it takes 2 seconds and isn't an inconvenience...just fucking check it.

Yeah I got a similar run around at a Target during the first run of Amiibo. I tell them it says it's in stock and the guy says "Was it Marth? Yyyeah that's like the most popular one." Then I tell him again it says it's stocked and he says "Yeah they all have the same SKU so......".

I've never looked to confirm if they all have the same SKU but I don't know how they could given that he was flat out full of shit. The website has different Amiibo in stock at different stores, which would be impossible for it to know if they all had the same bar code. Plus as far as the guy above goes, which is it? They're really popular and you sold out, or they have the same SKU?

I don't mind if someone makes something up like "yeah unfortunately the online stock takes some time to update and isn't always 100% accurate." That's a valid BS excuse, but don't just say random stuff. I don't ask people to check in the back because at that point they hate me and are just going to go back and smoke a cigarette and come back to say they didn't see any. If the person was over the top nice I would ask but other than that these people could give a feck especially around the holidays.

Yeah they don't have the same SKU. Clearly some titles are out of stock and others are in. Grumble Grumble.

The one right by my work says Little Mac is "limited availability" and Diddy Kong is "out of stock" so this should be good when neither are there. Hoping to come back and eat my words in an hour or so.

EDIT: Aaaaand they didn't have any of the second wave. So frustrating. I wouldn't even care if it took a full 24 hours to reflect online, but I know damn well it will still say "limited availability" tomorrow.

Yes, you can do it Here. Just click on the character and it tells you what games they are compatible for, or you can select the game title and it tells you which figures are compatible as well as what specifically they do for the game.
