And on the PS4 front, got a lucky bid in on ebay the other day and I'll finally be able to play the Last of Us here sometime during the week and got it for $24.50.
The PS4 thread
Re: The PS4 thread
What he said. I never said it was real time. I said that a real day in game is 30min, and each day you have to set aside time to sleep or the game punishes you with decreased stats/performance for being tired. I do not like the sound of that alone but the rest looks like it could be really fun.

I tried to play it on PS3, but the game had issue running on some original model systems where it would get stuck in an autosave causing infinite loop during the opening part in the SUV so I never could. I look forward to try it out since I never read much into it other than seeing love/hate stuff on forums that's hard to avoid.

I take it you didn't like having to call home to mom in Earthbound either.Tanooki wrote:What he said. I never said it was real time. I really don't remember ever doing that. I just made calls to save. I only have finished the game once, long ago.

The way he said it originally made it sound like real time though.....isiolia wrote:It's not real time. An in-game day is about 30 minutes real time, which is shorter than most MMO day/night cycles.

Re: The PS4 thread
So, it's been an interesting month of obscure PS4 physical releases.
Earlier in the month, I received my copy of the extremely limited physical release of Retro City Rampage.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris did not receive a physical release in the US. However, it received a pretty nice "gold edition" set with the game on disc in the UK.
Finally, the last three (Pure Pool, Pure Chess, and Stick it to the Man) are physical releases of indie games that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. There is very little information about this retail release and no one except a third party seller on Amazon has them in stock. This could potentially be a really obscure and limited release similar to Retro City. I guess time will tell.
All in all, a kinda weird and interesting month for obscure games and PS4 ones at that.

Re: The PS4 thread
Is there any point in trying to connect to psn right now? Has anyone been able to get through in the past day or two?

Re: The PS4 thread
Has anyone had problems logging onto PSN on PS3? I got on for a little yesterday, but no go today.
