What's your 2014 Game of the Year?

Since so few of us played many games that were actually released in 2014, I may start a 2014 Video Game Superlatives thread to we can talk about all the games we played this year regardless of their release date. For categories, I am thinking of including:

Best Game
Worst Game
Most Challenging Game
Most Fun Game
Best Art Direction

Are there any other categories that I shoudl include? (Once I get a few responses, I will start the thread.)

A lot of us usually do that kind of thing with our final post in the Games Beaten thread for the year, no?

I dunno, I guess I'd see this thread and that potential one as siphoning posts off one another. I am happy to just amend the OP to ask people to also chime in with other thoughts on their superlatives of the year and we can keep them all in one place, if you'd like.

I don't think that is necessary. This is a great place to maintain a focused discussion on 2014 games.

Right after saying this, I realize we could have a, "Choose your own category," category for someone who wants to make one up like, "Most fanservice," or, "Game featuring the most doors needed to be opened award," psssttt.... that one should totally go to Alien Isolation.

I guess I just don't know where I'd want to talk about the best game or prettiest game I played this year if it was one that was also released in 2014. Here? This hypothetical superlatives thread? The Games Beaten thread? I played Thief Gold for the first time this year and thought its design was astounding, but I think the prettiest game I played was probably Forza Horizon 2 or Alien Isolation...
