I was very pleasantly surprised by how great this amp handled the bass.

One of the cool things is how this amp's character seems to change based on how high the notes being played are. I mean the guitar in that link was the exact same amp, on the exact same settings, and you can barely tell.

This morning my daughter and I were goofing off in our "music room" and I happened to put on my bass upside down... And it was, like, infinitely more comfortable. May restring it tonight and see what happens.

Should I mention that I already do that? Makes it easier for me to see the fretboard and my fingers, especially when I'm learning a song.

I've been meaning to post in this thread...

I got a saxophone for Christmas! I've been wanting to pick up the sax for years now, and I finally got one. I thought the fingerings would be the hardest part for me to learn, but I was wrong. Having played the trumpet for so many years, and never a woodwind, the hardest part for me is learning correct embouchure.
