Any recommendations for a good tower defense game?

Defense Grid: Awakening is very well regarded. I haven't played it but it seems a good start :D

The iOS port of Sonic CD is incredibly good. Also Sonic CD is still an absolutely fantastic game. Only second to Sonic 3 and Knuckles in the series and in some ways it's actually better than that one.

Some very differing opinions about the classic Sonic rankings here, but yeah. Huge fan of Sonic CD.

Weren't the iOS ports of the first two games really good too, with all the weird extras/debugging? Really wish those came to XBL/PSN.

I don't even see the comparison. Sonic CD is great. Sonic 3 and Knuckles are functional. That's the best thing I can say about them.

Sonic CD is the best sonic ever because:

Sonic Boom is the second best Sonic game because it's named after the best Sonic song which was in the best Sonic game.

This has been brought to you by Sega of America, please buy Sonic Boom. It's grrrrreeat!

Sometimes I think I'm the only person in the world who thinks Sonic CD is kinda "meh". It's clunky feeling with too much stop and go like Sonic 1, instead of smooth exploration and intuitive path finding like Sonic 2. I will at least admit the Japanese version of Sonic CD has a pretty rad OST.

I'm happily married, (even have sexy time) but I would possibly be open to renting a Summer Cottage for a few weeks with you to enjoy the awesomeness of sonic cd. You know, a bro thing we could do.

Could we make it a 3 way... er... Sonic CD fest.

Seriously the music in Sonic CD is stellar. Both the American and Japanese versions.

Which is why I really dig it myself. Feels a bit more like a true platformer... simpler and maybe not as original as the other Sonic's, but yeah. I just love it and the art style of 1 and CD the most, it's really zany and out there.
