I've pretty much stopped playing multiplayer games. When I was in high school I played a ton of D2 and CS, in college it was WoW, after college it was TF2 and LoL, but these days it's all single player.

My children like to watch me play games; so, almost everything I play these days is family-friendly. :?

I find it interesting that at 35 I'm more into video games now than I ever was as a kid or a young adult. I keep up with the industry far more intently, buy more stuff, and even play more stuff than I ever did before. I can't blame it on needing escapism or something like that, because I only play late at night after real life for that day is taken care of. If I was neglecting everything else in my life and playing games all the time that would be a different story. As an adult I appreciate games more now as an art form then I used to, and I also appreciate their challenges more for sure. I also enjoy researching their history, lore, and development since my 30's whereas before I couldn't have cared less about that.

Let's see... I used to mostly focus on endless games like Sims 2 and MMOs, and most games that did have an end I (generally) wouldn't finish. I kept getting distracted and only trying a little bit of the games I had.

Now, I play a larger variety of games but I do try and focus on ones with an end goal. I think I appreciate seeing the ending credits a lot more that I used to (I think I didn't really care before), but also I really don't like a looking at my games knowing that I haven't even touched half of them. I guess it helps that I buy most my games now, so I see it as a waste of money. Because of this, I've also been putting a lot more effort into finishing more games (using backloggery, spreadsheets, posting here etc), but I don't think I put any huge effort until this year haha. To put it into perspective... This year alone I've nearly beaten 40 games, but I've only beaten around 20 games in every past year combined  So while I'm still pretty slow and still get distracted pretty easy, it's nice seeing the improvement.

Oh and also I don't buy games just because they have an "anime cover" anymore

Sorcery Saga is a Madou Monogatari game and is actually pretty solid. Don't know much about fairy fencing.

In addition to my other post, since others have mentioned it, my online gaming habits.

For me, online gaming used to be a big social thing with people from high school, but nearly all of them have dropped gaming or I just can't talk to anymore. Now, I do hardly any multiplayer gaming, just because I don't know anybody to game with. It also has to do with personal preference for singleplayer having a definite goal.

Not to say I still don't love multiplayer, its just hard to find games that I like, that also have a continuous community.
