Oh c'mon guys, you got your own Street Fighter on Xbox One - it's called Killer Instinct! Wish there was a Killer Instinct on Xbox One, though... /bluetext

Eh. I don't really see it as that big of a deal. Street Fighter is huge in Japan. Much bigger than the niche following it has in America. Even if it did have a huge market stateside... PS4 is still doing much better than the Xbone, so it doesn't make much sense to make it for both platforms which pushes the development costs up much higher.

And regardless, the game doesn't look different or even that much better than SF4. Looks like I can safely skip this one and miss absolutely nothing, as SF4 itself was something I wish I could just forget.

Most likely it will end up being on the Xbox One anyway when they make a trailer meant for America.

So supposedly it will be forever exclusive to PC and PS4. They say it will be cross-platform play as well. Very happy about that.

They make sense to Microsoft and Sony, and those two companies are often willing to pay money and assist with development as part of the bargain. Besides, many of these exclusives end up crossing platform lines later, so the developer gets a boost up front and then gets additional cross-platform sales down the road.

PS4 is still doing much better than the Xbone, so it doesn't make much sense to make it for both platforms which pushes the development costs up much higher.

With the exception of catering to different APIs and some memory differences and whatnot, the two platforms are incredibly similar, and incredibly similar to the PC. Cross-platform development between PC, PS4, and XBone is insanely easier with this generation than it ever was in the past.

I'll be honest, it doesn't look that much different to me from IV. Yes, there was that stage break, but it looks like it's on a slightly modified IV engine. Same art style, still using that brush stroke on certain moves.

Of course, if they make Chun-Li's Kikoken HCF+P again I'm in.

Well ps3 or ps4 owners didnt get Dead Rising series properly. Xboxone is a giant VCR. Hardly any japanese consumers buying into xboxone.

Looks more detailed than 4 but yeah prob the same engine. But that engine worked great. Excited.
