Epic Yarn is definitely meant to be played trying to achieve 100% completion. That's how you get a challenge out of it. Wonderful game, by the way.

There are definitely harder Kirby games, but I don't know that they ever get too tough. I do remember getting stumped at the end of Kirby's Adventure for a while, that last shooter segment plus boss was pretty tough. And if that doesn't work for you, play the Extra mode where you've only got three health blocks. Now that does give a lot less room for error.

Also, Canvas Curse was brilliant. It definitely isn't a platformer... at least not the jumping kind, more of a "painted-path... er". You definitely do platform-y things, just with a different sort of means of locomotion. I am so looking forward to the sequel.

Hey I totally did not notice that aside from the main line (1-4) of the Etrain Odyssey games they've done re-releases of the first two (first in US only so far) of the original DS titles for the 3DS with some revamping and additions.

How does any of you feel about that one?

Exhum will have much more to say, but Untold (Remake of the first game) is my first experience with the series, and I think it is quite wonderful.

... really need to get back to that.

They've added a story mode to the remakes which both gives you a challenge (can't pick your party) and a new play experience (due to the story, rather than just trudging through the dungeon). They also rebalanced stuff so Immunize isn't busted as fuck. The first two EO games were very light on the story; it wasn't until EO3 that they had a real story going on, so it's fun getting a story mode. But I feel like a remake of EO3 might be a bit gratuitous. The first two feel a bit bare bones compared to 3 and 4, but there isn't a lot of difference in my opinion between 3 and 4 and Untold.

I beat Untold's story mode on Expert, it took me 115 hours without using a guide. If you hate yourself and want to feel utter despair give that mix a go. If you want to actually enjoy the game play it on Standard.

I am sure Untold 2 will make it stateside.

You still need to beat the Sixth Stratum as I recall.
