Hmm nice list of 3DS stuff to come for various interests.

That Kirby game I have it, it's enjoyable unlike his hit and miss games over the last few years or so with more misses than hits. Well polished is a good way to call it considering the good flow it has going in that game.

Are all Kirby games kind of entry level platformers? That's the sense I get but I've only played Epic Yarn, which was a fine game it's just that I could've beaten it with my eyes closed.

Thanks. I'll be getting that on 3DS to be sure.

No, there are definitely far more difficult Kirby games than Epic Yarn. I'd say that Epic Yarn is probably the easiest Kirby game ever made.

Me too. I have just added Ultimate NES Remix to my "want" list...

This is true, but IMO, none of the games in the Kirby series are particularly difficult.

Epic Yarn is brilliant.

"Easy" is debatable. I like to think of games like Epic Yarn as having amorphous difficulty settings (as opposed to those you literally choose from a menu when the game starts). It can be quite challenging if you choose to go for 100% completion.

This is true. Anyone can beat Kirby's Epic Yarn, but only a seasoned player will be able to "complete" it. (This is true of many modern Nintendo games, and it is a testament to that company's design philosophy.)

Second that on Canvas Curse, and it's no platformer it's a drawing game as much as a platformer since you don't even control kirby, you draw things for him to proceed over. I can't stand the game, almost took out my DS over it years ago.

That Etrian Odyssey game is interesting now that I've watched a clip of the 4th one on the 3DS on youtube. I noticed there is (was?) a demo on the eshop for it too so that may really help out and the save data is transferable.

Soo... a game that seemingly released to not even a peep.

It's the only version of the game out right now and a physical release at that as well.
